1. High strength requirements. Except for special reasons, the damage of mechanical equipment mostly occurs in weak links or places with stress concentration. When bonding maintenance is adopted, high-strength structural glue drying agent well must be selected to cooperate with appropriate mechanical connection section, and great care shall be taken in the whole process to prevent the generation of mechanical stress and thermal stress.

2. The process is difficult. For the common bonding process, the joint can be calculated in advance. Even if the bonding is adopted on the finalized products, the bonding methods and joints are generally regular. The cracks of damaged equipment often appear in unpredictable positions, and the joints are strange. Some huge equipment can not be moved at all, which brings great difficulties to a series of process treatments such as pretreatment, sizing, heating and curing.

3. Time is tight. When the oil pipe of the sailing ship is sprayed or the gas tank leaks, emergency measures must be taken under the condition of load: first, use fast adhesive to plug the gap, and then take reinforcement measures for the plug to make it no longer a weak link. All these are required to be completed in a short time, and can maintain normal operation or even long-term operation for a long time.
